Institute for Broadening Participation (IBP)
The mission of the Institute for Broadening Participation is to increase diversity in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) workforce. We design and implement strategies to increase access to STEM education, funding, and careers, with special emphasis on reaching and supporting individuals from under-served communities and underrepresented groups, including underrepresented minorities, women, persons with disabilities, first generation college students, and students from under-served communities. The Institute for Broadening Participation is a 501(c)(3) organization, tax ID #20-1891162. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. 
Paid Summer Research Programs!Most programs offer both a stipend and housing and travel support. Programs range across all STEM disciplines and all areas of the country! Click on the links below to search the databases of internships and training programs:
