Disabled Students! Contact your Financial Aid Office right away to see if you qualify for Emergency Aid

U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos announced today more than $6 billion will be distributed immediately to colleges and universities to provide direct emergency cash grants to college students whose lives and educations have been disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak. The funding is available through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law by the President  less than two weeks ago.

Students should contact their campus financial aid office now or check out the campus Financial Aid website for more information about these cash grants.

AHEAD Scholarships for Students with Disabilities for Fall of 2020

The Association on Higher Education And Disability announces its annual scholarship opportunity for current students in college.

One award will be made to an undergraduate student and one award to a graduate student.

The application deadline is April 15th, 2020.

Student Scholarships require nomination from a current AHEAD member. You can check with your campus' Disability Resource Center to see if staff there are members of AHEAD.

Microsoft disAbility renewable scholarship $5,000/year DUE March 1, 2019

​Microsoft: disAbility Scholarship enable high school students with disabilities to go to college and target a career in the technology industry.

The amount of this renewable scholarship to be awarded is $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total.

All completed applications must be submitted by March 1, 2019.
