Some other animals like birds are known to ignore food which is bad for them as if they are aware of what it does to their body. So how do we explain that food that has undergone Maillard reaction is also preferred by Apes which can't cook food. Could it be that they have naturally evolved to be inclined to eating cooked food because of health benefits that haven't been discovered yet? What happens when you don't cook food? Well there maybe reasons to avoid raw food.
